Today is the International Action Day ”Freedom not fear - Stop the surveillance mania!”. In Berlin the protest march starts at 2 pm at Alexanderplatz.
“A broad movement of campaigners and organizations is calling on everybody to join action against excessive surveillance by governments and businesses. On 11 October 2008, concerned people in many countries will take to the streets, the motto being “Freedom not fear 2008”. Peaceful and creative action, from protest marches to parties, will take place in many capital cities.”

The Blue Van
This week the international music trade show takes place in Berlin. The best part of it is the music festival, because hundreds of different bands and artist perform in the clubs all over the city. The picture is from last night’s awesome concert “Spotlight On Denmark” at Postbahnhof, where six Danish rock and electro bands played. The tickets were dead cheap (6 Euros) and the bands, especially The Blue Van, who played in the style of The Kinks/Cream, rocked.
